Lesley and Sue have completed the Kilt Walk for Christian Aid

Lesley & Sue have completed their walk, the post has been updated with photos of the start & end.

Also over £3,400 has been raised to date!

Sadly the Christian Aid Coffee Morning usually held in May during CA Week will not take place once again. Last year through the valiant efforts of Norman Macdonald and the generosity of so many of the congregation and village residents, the amazing sum of £2485 was raised by St Fillan’s for CA Week. The money raised this year will be used to mitigate some of the effects of Climate Change on vulnerable communities.

This year CA is encouraging congregations to participate in the Kilt Walk at the end of April. All funds raised will be increased by 50% by Sir Tom Hunter. So donning our tartan, Sue Farrar and I will take up the chalk to become St Fillan’s Tartan Trekkers!

We will walk from North Queensferry to Kirkcaldy on Saturday April 24th.

We would be very grateful for any sponsorship. You can donate now through the Just Giving page: https//virtual.thekiltwalk.co.uk/fundraising/ScotlandsVirtualKiltwalk2021-LesleyGordon
If you would prefer to give cash, you can drop in an envelope in to Lesley at 21 Hawkcraig Rd or to Sue at 3, Dovecote Park. If the money can be given before May 3rd, it will receive the 50% premium.

Thank you from Lesley Gordon (CA co-ordinator).
