I read in the Dunfermline Press that the most popular name for baby boys in July in Fife was Noah.
The story of Noah, the Ark and the Flood is one of the most famous stories in the bible. The story of Noah should not be taken too literally but it tells us the relationship between God and his people. I don’t think I would have been like Noah building an Ark, I would have waited until it had started to rain.
Noah had patience, trust and obedience. We can learn from him. Maybe they are the attributes we would want a child to have.
It is a pity that we don’t hear about Noah’s wife – I wonder what she thought?
