Fearne Riach has drawn a picture of St Fillan’s as part of her fundraising campaign for her trip to Cambodia.
She going to Cambodia with Inverkeithing High School and Camps International in the summer of 2025 for 4 weeks. She will be helping to build kitchens, toilets and bridges. To immerse herself in the culture, she will be surviving without her phone.
St Fillan’s Church is delighted to be able to give a donation to Fearne. The money is from a fund set up in memory of Kathleen Fergus, to help a young person expenses volunteering with a charity. We look forward to Fearne giving a talk to the community on her return, probably in September 2025.
Kathleen Fergus was instrumental in setting up the Aberdour Churches Fun Week that continues today.
