Served on HMS Inflexible at the Battle of Falkland Islands and at the Dardanelles.
Died 31 May 1916, age 32 at the battle of Jutland on board HMS Invincible. Suffered magazine explosion during the Battle of Jutland. There were only 6 survivors out of a crew of over a thousand.
