69. George Low White surgeon of Whitehill, Shore Road. Born 25/5/1809 Leith, died here 23/9/1885 age 76, wife Jessie Paton Philp born 25/8/1811 Leith died 23/1/1892 age 80, Highgate, London. He helped (with Rev George Roddick) to introduce the first sewage pipes in the village.
