Reflections from the Pew 2

The Flying Scotsman at Aberdour

On Friday the Flying Scotsman came through Aberdour Station. I always smile when I see it apparently being pushed by a diesel locomotive from the rear.
The diesel loco is there to provide heating and power in the case of breakdown, without it the train could not run.
There were 10 passenger carriages, without the paying passengers the train could not run.
There were 2 crew carriages – to look after the train and passengers, without them the train could not run.

I Corinthians Ch12:22 …we cannot do without the parts of the body that seem to be weaker…

A report, including video of the Flying Scotsman passing through Aberdour Station on Friday is available on the Courier’s website.

A video of the trains passing through Aberdour on 17th May 2017 is shown below – The Flying Scotsman is at the end!
