Election of the Nomination Committee
We are about to form a nominating committee. This will have 13 members made up as follows: 2 from each of five constituent churches; in addition, 1 each from St Fillans/Dalgety, Inverkeithing/North Queensferry; and Rosyth. We are now calling for nominations. Each nominee must be on the Forthview electoral roll, have a proposer and seconder who are also on electoral roll, and have confirmed he or she is willing to serve on the committee. Nominations should be given to the session clerk or interim moderator on or before Thursday 16th May. If there are more nominations than places, an election will be held on Sunday 19th May. A ballot paper will be provided for that purpose. The election will be held in each of the five churches. You will only be voting for nominees from your own church. The results will be collated after the services and reported as soon as we can.
Timetable
On 5th May at each church a notice will be read regarding the membership roll, this will be available for inspection in each church. Only those on the roll can be nominated. There will the first call for nominations for the nominating committee.
On 12th May at each church there will the second call for nominations for the nominating committee.
16th May is the cut off for nominations.
On 19th May the election of the nominating committee will take place.
Confirmation of Electoral Roll

Notice is hereby given that the proposed Electoral Register of this congregation of Forthview has now been prepared.
If you believe that your name should be on the Register, you can ask for confirmation that it has been included immediately after this service by speaking to the session clerk.
If your name is not on the proposed Electoral Register, and you believe it should be, you should inform the Session Clerk in writing before the Kirk Session meets to finalise the register on [date] at [place]. You are also welcome to attend that meeting, if you wish to make the case for your name being included.
Election of Nominating Committee
To be read on Sunday 5th & 12th May
Notice is hereby given that a meeting of this congregation of Forthview will be held in this Church on Sunday 19th May at the close of morning worship for the purpose of appointing some members to the Nominating Committee. The task of the Nominating Committee will be to nominate three persons to this congregation of Forthview to be the new ministers.
At that meeting, each of the persons on the Electoral Roll of the five congregations who are present shall be invited to vote for three of those Nominated on the ballot paper to serve on the Nominating Committee. In respect of Rosyth the three with the highest votes will be elected. In respect of St. Fillans/Aberdour and Inverkeithing/North Queensferry the two in each place with the highest votes will be elected. The remaining place for each of these sub-groups will be the person who receives the highest votes cast for third place. If you wish to propose anyone to serve on the Committee you may do so on or before Thursday 16th May providing the person has indicated a willingness to serve and you have a seconder.
