Sing it & Dysart (community development) Silver Band

Sing it is a Ladies Choir and meets weekly on Thursday evenings in St Fillan’s Church Hall. “We started up in 2013 as a Community Choir. We sing mainly pop songs, but also African, Scottish and songs from Musicals. Our main aim is to have fun and enjoy singing. While we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we do try to be as good as we can.”

Dysart Colliery Silver Band are based in Kirkcaldy and are one of Scotland’s oldest bands having been established in 1880. The Development Band is where any player is welcome no matter if you have never played a note before.
