Recently the Aberdour Banner from the year 2000 was uncovered, this was created by a group of local residents portraying different aspects of village life.
One of the panels shows St Fillan’s and St Columba’s churches, highlighting the windows.
I wonder if you were to describe St Fillan’s church what would you choose?
Would it be the feeling of God’s presence, the ancient architecture, the tranquillity of the grave yard, the minister, the people, tradition, family, worship, coffee mornings, hymn singing?
